The questionnaire shows from which problems arise the student's failure. The problems related to the school environment, teacher, friend relationships or family? It also gives general information about the reasons for failure in class and at school.
TO WHOM AND HOW TO APPLY?
It can be applied to the 188.8.131.52.8 graders of primary education classes and all the students at the secondary level. The class guide teacher distributes the questionnaire to the students, reads the instructions and ensures the implementation of the questionnaire.
HOW TO EVALUATE AND INTERPRET ?
Once the questionnaire has been applied, the frequency of each question is determined and converted to percentage values according to the answers. For example, if the first question is marked by 25 out of 50 students in the classroom, 50% of the class is complaining because the family is crowded and for this reason they are failing in their lessons. These results at the class level are reported to reveal the total outcome of the school's failures. Numerical data are interpreted together with the reasons for individual failure of the students, the reasons for the most specified failures in the class, and the reasons for the collective failure of the school.
It is necessary to handle the questionnaire results individually and to help the students with the problems Both class teacher and counselling teacher can give
this support to the student. Students with personal problems are consulted and their families are interviewed to troubleshoot the problems.
The common problems of the class and the causes originating from the school - class environment are discussed in the class and precautions are taken, group counselling can be provided to students with in-class activities.
In situations that arise from the school environment and cause problems for the majority of the students in the school, it is necessary to look into the school
environment and find ways to solve problems in cooperation with school administrations, parents, teachers and counselling teachers.
